Dundee and Angus College is one of Scotland’s most successful and innovative education providers. The number of student enrolments now exceeds 23,000 supported by over 700 staff. The College has an established reputation for providing high quality education, training and associated services. Dundee and Angus College implemented INICA in April 2010 following a strategic decision to move away from traditional paper based course applications. The College were looking for something that would provide them with faster course enrolment, a more cost effective process, improve their communication and increase efficiency.

Using INICA, the College has been able to make the whole course application process more accessible, through the provision of online self-service e-forms. As a direct result of the improved data accuracy achieved, Dundee and Angus College has also now introduced online enrolment for those students who have been successful with their course application. The primary method of communication to applicants by the College is now through INICA, via email and text messages. This has significantly reduced response times with two way communication now taking minutes rather than days.

With over 16,000 course applications made to the college in 2011/12 we would have had real difficulty in dealing with the increased administration workload without the INICA online application system. We believe that this online facility has greatly streamlined the application process in Dundee and enhanced the student’s application experience whilst maximising college resources.
